Wooden toys are fantastic as they are tactile for bubs, and the bright primary colours of these stacking rings have great appeal for them. When my daughter was a younger baby, she liked to put the rings in her mouth and play with them individually, then as she became more co-ordinated, she actually held the base and stacked the rings on one by one (a great sense of achievement!). The ball is also fun to roll. Now that she is two, we are still learning with these rings - I'm helping her to put them on in size order! Certainly a versatile toy that will become a classic in your child's nursery. I've given wooden stacking rings as gifts too and they've been well-received. I've found Plan Toys products to be of excellent quality.
