After alot of research and a bit of hesitation, we decided to purchase the Tripp Trapp. Our little man is now 15 months old and I have to say I highly recommend these chairs to anyone that may be considering them. The Tripp Trapp is so versatile around the kitchen and dining areas. My son sits at the table with us for every meal and can join in when we have visitors (to everyones amusement). At an age where he would be growing out of a highchair, this chair grows with him. It is one purchase I can honestly say is worth every cent.

We've had our Tripp Trapp for over 18months now, and having gone through 3 previous high chairs, I have found high-chair Mecca!! Not only is this an aesthically pleasing piece of children's furniture, but I love that it sits neatly under our kitchen table, it's very easy to keep clean, it moves smoothly over the floorboards so my toddler is able to get on and off it himself, and it's simple to adjust the seat and foot rest (which I have just done this morning). It is also a sturdy step-ladder, which does have it's draw backs when you have a child who loves exploring every nook and cranny in the house!

The Stokke Tripp Trapp (in red) just arrived at our house a week ago. Our son is 18 months old and was not using the high chair any more, and our dining chairs were just causing so many accidents. The TRIPP TRAPP was not so easy to construct - I think I required an extra hand a few times, but has been put to use well. It has sliders on the bottom, which scoot it across hardwood floors without scratching and it is used to 'help' wash up, and cook etc. Very pleased with the purchase.
