1. I am so relieved to read this! My baby is six months old and there has been a lot of pressure from nurses, other mothers and health professionals for me to try and ‘control’ my baby to sleep through the night (one mother suggested I feed her water and pat her back while she cries in the cot at night), and to feed her solids at 4 and a half months!
   To read this article actually made me feel quite emotional. I love having my baby close to me. I’m not spoiling her by cuddling her to sleep, or breastfeeding her during the night. If she doesn’t take to food (which she didn’t until this last week!) I don’t have to feel guilty. She is healthy, she is breastfeeding and she is a social, fun little girl with a grand sense of humour. Thank you for writing this, for publishing this.
