Its no secret that Stokke are one of the innovators when it comes to well designed contemporary nursery furniture.  One only has to visit an international furniture trade show to witness the plethora of Stokke “wanna be” products emerging on the market.  In Germany last year I was dumbfounded (yet quietly amused) to visit the stand of a Scandinavian furniture Co proudly exhibiting “their” prototype ”Trappy high chair”  (I kid you not) - which featured an eery resemblance to the award winning Tripp Trapp high chair. 

Stokke continue to satisfy the aesthetic needs of the modern parent not just with their design but also  their colour choices, having just launched the Stokke collection in grey. I cant speak to soon, however can share that one or two of our other favourite nursery brands will also be releasing grey versions of their  furniture in 2009.  We love the new Stokke grey and predict it to be a very popular colour choice.
