It seems we have gotten a little slack with our “Window Spotting” efforts since we moved back into our re-furbished store back in (ahem….) January. While these photos arent optimal when it comes to lighting and suffer from sun glare, they do show you that yes we do take pride in our windows. Resident Merchandiser Michelle is in fact the mastermind behind our fab  window displays and with three windows to update at a tome, she is kept very busy! The “hardware ” components you see above are the In Your Room toybox, Bloom Nano High Chair , Oeuf Classic Cot and Stokke Tripp Trapp High Chair. The feature of the window below is the Kid’s Earth Globes which have just arrived back into stock for Christmas (yahoo!). Stay tuned for more windiw spotting soon…..and we’ll introduce you to Michelle soon too

This weeks window features the timeless colours of sage, cream and teal blue, showcasing the soft fibres of organic cotton and lambswool. 

Nature Baby drawstring pants and Nature Baby bodysuits make for super comfortable outfits for babies and busy toddlers alike. Mix striped bodysuits with cream or chocolate drawstring pants for a simple but stylish look.

Robeez booties are like Uggs for babies, and are most popular for their soft “cushion in every step” feel, as well as being one of the only booties that actually stay on the feet of little ones.

Mamas & Papas Knit Bunny and Happy Horse Knit toys both have the character and texture of a toy nanna would knit. Both of these toys make for unique baby gifts and often become baby’s favourite toy.

The Mamas & Papas Snuggle rug cow works well as a baby mat, as well as a toy for over the side of the cot (and features in-built valco tabs underneath for this purpose). The colours make him a neutral choice for both boys & girls.

Lambykins blankets are made of the finest merino wool and feature simple, modern styling. They are available in cot size or Urban (pram) Blanket size with matching cap.

Things were kept suitably simple this week featuring three brands we admire for their minimalist and un-complicated designs - Bloom and Brio and Babu.

 Bloom Fresco High Chair - the only contemporary chair that stays with the child from birth to school age. Nici toys are a bebe bestseller as they tend to become the favourite or “chosen” soft toy from very early on in a babies life. Its not un-common for us to receive phone calls from far away places pleading “my baby’s lost her Nici, please send us another ASAP!” 

Little ones love Nici Plush toys for their plush cuddliness, and big kids love them for their cheeky character. This week our Window #2 display has been very dynamic - thanks to the curiosity and subsequent popularity of the Playmobil Jet Plane positioned on the third shelf. Its seemed every time we’ve gone to photograph the window there’s been an empty space where the plane sits, either because its getting an enthusiastic trial run in-store by mini pilots-to-be, or its been snapped up as the last one available.  No surprise, because this one really captures the imagination & spark of little people. The “now-you-see-me-now-you-dont” Playmobil Jet Plane is back in stock, so make sure you drop in for a play.
